MSF coordinates operations through collaborations between global offices. The office of MSF-Holland located in Amsterdam hosts more than 400 employees, offering direct support to MSF-OCA operations. Around 50 staff focus on recruitment, communication and fundraising in The Netherlands (MSF-Holland) and 350 staff are focused on supporting MSF-OCA operations.

IT Infrastructure Administrator (100%)
based in Amsterdam
You will support and operate our IT infrastructure , support and evaluate business processes, evaluate changes in the landsc ape and adapt the IT organisation to these changes . The environment support s over 18 00 end-users and is built around Fortinet networking infrastructure, Microsoft office 365 , Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft Dyn amics 365 and Cisco technologies .

Position within the organisation
You will be positioned in the IT department in Amsterdam and report to the ICT Support Operations Coordinator. You will work in a core team of 2 2 IT and IS specialists that focus on business/IT alignment, project delivery , support and supplier management. The ICT department is currently strengthening its team, therefore we are looking for a hands on IT infrastructure administrator.
Objectives of the position
Your days and responsibilities are diverse and you have a lot of contacts. You do the operational management of the IT suppliers and you operate and support the IT infrastructure (2nd line , 3rd line). You will liaise with the ICT teams in the field. You do licence management, IT security management and identity management. You manage System Centre, MDT, Intune and Azure environment and you implement changes . You are responsible for the performance of the systems, platforms and applications and you report on the SLA’s.
In this role you will be the focal point for the alignment of business process es and IT. You create and optimise work instructions and procedures and you provide solution architecture for the organisation’s IT components and integrations. For projects, you deliver the IT infrastructure components.
We are looking for someone with the experience to take the ‘lead’ in terms of project management and change management . A collaborator and engager , with both the patience and the determination to set up a good IT alignment within the organisation. You are able to hit the ground running in terms of know-how and is motivated by and feels connected with the goals of the organisation . We are looking for a team player who is motivated by the interesting and international work environment that we provide. In this role, c ommunication and service orientation is key.
- Higher vocational level or Bachelor degree in e.g. IT engineering or computer science
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an IT infrastructure or similar role
- A hands on IT professional with a passion for technology and able to understand its value in a specific context
- Strong knowledge of networking, Operating systems, Cloud environments, Office 365 and Azure
- Good understanding of IT service organisations and ITIL processes
- A team player with the ab ility to work independently
- Fluent in English, written and oral. Dutch language a plus
- Excellent communications skills in an international work environment
- Willingness to travel

A Dutch employment contract from 1 April 2021, based on 40 hours per week. The contract is for one year (subject to satisfactory performance) based on a fulltime appointment.
A gross monthly salary in scale 6 between € 2,875 and € 4,106 depending on professional experience, based on a 40-hour working week.
